A SETTING OF THE BCP PRECES AND RESPONSES (Evening Prayer) FOR SATB CHOIR UNACCOMPANIED

Commissioned for Trinity Cathedral Choir, Sacramento, California, for their UK tour, this setting brings a touch of Americana to the proceedings. (Halley's setting has been described by one prominent English choral director as 'a bit naughty'). The precentor's part is standard and the Lord's Prayer is through composed. The choir occasionally goes into six parts. They have been updated to reflect the accession of King Charles III to the throne.
