A DUET FOR PIANO (FOUR HANDS) AND ORGAN
A rolling 'choral' melody in two verses on the piano is followed by an anthem-type bridge in the organ, culminating in a combining of the two major themes, to create a work of breadth and beauty. Echoes of Halley's previous work, 'Requiem for Dmitri', are here.

The choral version of this piece, entitled "United In Song", was commissioned by Unisong Choral Festival. Sheet music for "United In Song" is among our Choral works and is available in both SATB and SSA versions.

Paul Halley
'This is actually a piece for choir that I was commissioned to compose for a Millenium Festival in Ottawa (UNISONG 2000) through the good offices of my friend, Barbara Clark. In its choral version it is considerably more heraldic but the tune remains the same.'
