Description/Remarks

A gorgeous arrangement of this joyful carol classic. The soaring descant on the last verse is the finishing touch to a memorable Christmas concert as witnessed by thousands of concert-goers to A King's Christmas, and Christmas Angelicus, know. In fact, the descant in this arrangement was written for Chorus Angelicus, the choir which Paul Halley founded in 1991 in Connecticut, and it has understandably become a staple in the repertoire of countless choirs since.
